|Booker T/King Booker|
|Finisher 1||Scissors Kick|
|Finisher 2||Book End|
Booker T, or his latest alias before his last run in the WWE, King Booker, is a veteran superstar who made his debut in the business during the Invasion. He was considered one of the WCW pioneers leading the parade against the WWE, in a long drawn-out feud to decide which entity was considered superior. In the very beginning of his WWE run, he had feuds with all-time greats The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He first held the WCW championship which he then lost to The Rock.
Further on, Booker was among the top contenders, but slowly and gradually dwindled down to midcard-level once there were other stars rising. He was drafted to SmackDown! in 2004 where he initiated a feud with Undertaker, but other than that, had nothing of note during his SD! run. A while after, his wife Sharmell Sullivan joined the WWE and become his long-time valet. Finally in 2006, the light shined upon Booker's career as he became the 2006 King of the Ring. His ego grew so large then that he officially changed his moniker to King Booker. His antics were somewhat comedic but mostly opportunistic and egoistical - forcing his opponents and rivals to kiss his ring or feet. He led a short stable for a while, with his "subjects" Finlay and William Regal by his side, along with his wife Sharmell. Booker proceeded to win the World Heavyweight title off Rey Mysterio and led a fruitful reign which was then halted by Batista at Survivor Series.
Next year, King Booker was traded to Raw, proclaiming to be the only real "king" in the WWE. That is until a returning Triple H, coming off a long-time injury, returned at SummerSlam in a face-off against Booker, to decide who was the true King of Kings. HHH won the match and it wasn't long until Booker decided to part ways with the WWE. His old catchphrase as Booker T was "can you dig it, sucka!?" and remains a prominent phrase used among wrestling fans today. In Royal Rumble 2011, Booker T returned to WWE, not as an active wrestler, but as a commentator on SmackDown! and as an occasional wrestler. He also appears on backstage skits.
