The Hall of Fame Mode in SmackDown vs RAW 2008 is basically a replacement for the Challenges seen in previous SmackDown games. This mode allows you to re-live some of wrestling's most famous matches, dating back as far as 1995.For each match challenge you complete in Hall of Fame mode you will gain points, the more points you earn the more unlockables will become available.

TheViperX writes: As a new superstar comes into the match Irish Whip the opponent over then 2-on-1 should eliminate him do this until its you and the last man then continually gain momentum and hit a powerful finisher (Power Bomb, Sweet Chin Music, Pedigree etc.) depending on your man until one part is red then just Irish Whip them over the ropes. (Super Heavyweight classification is recommended)

Fade To Black Writes: For this one i did the old hit and run. Bret Hart gives speed up to Shawn Michaels but if Hart gets you on the ground his technique could finish you off. As long as you're a good counter attack him straight on. If not your best bet is to play a quick running strike, retract and use quick grapples as opposed to heavy ones. Wear him down with these and go for some Sweet Chin Music for the 1..2..3

Stipulations:
- Play as Bret Hart
- Submission Match
- Legend Difficulty
- Defeat Stone Cold
The Hazard writes: This one is a bit easier since Bret is already a submission artist. Makes your work less difficult. Just beat him down and damage either the head or the chest. Once either limb is damaged enough, apply a submission move to make Austin tap out. If it's the head, use a headlock. If it's the back/chest, use the Sharpshooter.

Fade To Black Writes: The way i defeated this one was to play a scavenger type match. Simply stick to the outskirts with a wrestler with good speed and hardcore (i chose Edge) stats and play on weakness. Wait until everyone is worn down then go to town with a chair and some "Hardcore" grapples then hit your finisher after Irish whipping everyone else out. easy win!

Stipulations:
- Play as The Undertaker
- Hell in a Cell Match
- Legend Difficulty
- Defeat Mick Foley
The Hazard writes: This is pretty simple if you don't let the reversing bother you. Just take Foley out of the cell(exit yourself and let him come follow you) and start beating on him outside of the cell. If you're not that good, then just climb to the top and manage to throw him off the cell or slam him through it(using the middle squares). Finish him off with a Tombstone which automatically pins the opponent for the eventual win.
