Molly Holly debuted in the WWE in 2000 as the bubbly cousin of Hardcore and Crash Holly and began feuding with Test, Albert and Trish Stratus. The Hollys then began feuding with the Dudleyz; a rivalry that became heated when Molly started getting close to Spike Dudley and soon lead to Molly splitting from the Holly and eventually leaving Spike as well.

Molly won her first WWE gold at WrestleMania 18 when she defeated The Hurricane for the Hardcore Championship by smashing his head with a frying pan, however her title reign ended about an hour later when she lost to Christian. Molly has also held the Women's Championship on 2 occasions, once by beating Trish Stratus at the 2002 King of the Ring and her second reign came when she defeated Gail Kim in July 2003 on RAW .
