After being trained by his father Bob Armstrong, Road Dogg, who at the time was billed as The Roadie debuted in 1994 as an 'assistant' to Jeff Jarrett. It wasn't until 1996 when he teamed with Billy Gunn as The New Age Outlaws where he gained his large popularity with their combined anti-social and controversial behaviour. After WrestleMania XIV, the New Age Outlaws joined forces with D-Generation X.
When Billy Gunn sustained a legitimate injury, Road Dogg teamed with X-Pac instead, but they failed to regain the popularity they once had.
Road Dogg, now B.G. James, wrestles for WWE's main rivals Total Nonstop Action. He was featured in the first two installments of the SmackDown series.
