Table

Background
The name and match stipulation are so simple; doing it however, is a different story.
In a wrestling environment, the way to win this match is pretty common around parts. All the player must do is slam his opponent through a table in order to come out as the victor. The player can perform a standing grapple onto the table or simply jump off a turnbuckle or another jumping point, crashing onto his opponent. If you wish, you can stack two tables on top of each other for more impactful damage.
Tables match has been alive since the first SmackDown!; a vintage match which always delivered in most titles. In the older titles however, one could win a Table match in a matter of seconds since there there no real requirements for putting an opponent through a table. Later on, more precisely in SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007, that was changed. THQ installed a feature where the player first has to damage a body part of his opponent red first and he also must acquire a finisher to win.
This is the only type of match to be included into variations of the tag team aspect of the game. The player can also compete in Elimination Tornado Tag Team matches.
Also, in SmackDown! vs. Raw 2008, due to the game's slightly ECW-accentuated theme, one of the new groundbreaking features is the ability to set tables on fire, allowing players to slam their opponents through flaming tables.
