He’s the most electrifying man in sports entertainment.

One of the biggest draws in WWE history, The Rock is loved by most wrestling fans for his unique charisma which has often left wrestlers, interviewers and even cameramen in embarrassing situations. The Rock is the first ever 7-time WWE World Champion and has had high profile feuds with the likes of Triple H, Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan.

His character is mainly consisted of a larger-than-life performer who has enough ego to talk in third person, but still rallies the crowd behind him thanks to his spats and insults against the hated no-gooders. He contains an incredible amount of catchphrases, of which most are repeated and used through most of his interview promos. The Rock first started as Rocky Maivia, and his charisma started to shine out so much he gradually evolved into The Rock, the superstar many know and cherish. He had the year of his career in 2000, but left the business for a short while to go film his first movie. He came back in 2001, fresher than ever, leading team WWF into the mega battle against the Alliance. And from then on, The Rock continued to entertain until he quietly decided to leave the business in 2004, much to the fans' chagrin.

His last wrestling match was at WrestleMania 20 where he teamed up with long-time friend Mick Foley to face Evolution members Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista, The Rock and Foley lost the match and Rock left the WWE to pursue a career in Hollywood. The Rock is well known for raising his right eyebrow at the end of interviews or after making some sort of speech. Another common feature that he uses in his interviews is If you smell what The Rock is cooking!. The Rock's catchphrases, have also been used as names for some of the earlier games - Know Your Role, Just Bring It and Shut Your Mouth.

WWE SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role

The Rock was in the WWF World Title Rank and was usually always a top contender.

WWE SmackDown!: Just Bring It

WWE SmackDown!: Shut Your Mouth

As had been the case up to this game, the Rock is one of the game's biggest names, appearing on the NTSC cover in North America alongside other big names in the company. He is presented in full-force, with a complete entrance and three attires, two of which must be unlocked in Season Mode. His first is his usual in-ring underwear, his other two are outfits he wore at least once or twice in the company. Attire B is his athletic Just Bring It gear and training pants, and the last being the attire he wore in during his infamous "Rock Concerts" - a two piece leather jumpsuit with a brahma bull belt buckle.

In the game, his move set is customized to him, many signature moves including his unique Sharpshooter and DDT are present. His finishers are the "Rockbottom" and the "People's Elbow."

WWE SmackDown!: Here Comes the Pain

This is the last game to feature The Rock on the active roster. It also featured his "current" Hollywood look with his noticeable tattoos and movie star persona. He also has three avaliable attires in this game, two which also must be bought in WWE Shop.

WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW

The Rock's movie-star attire was dumped and classic attire was added to the legend's list. From this game on, he remained a legend for the rest of the series.

Do you smell what he's cooking?

With a technique attribute of 9.5 it’s obvious The Rock’s move-set would include a technical style (Hold R1 and flick the right analogue stick left). It’s in the technical grapple that you’ll find a lot of vintage Rocky moves such as the Spinebuster, Dragon Screw and The Rocks DDT. If your opponents down you should take advantage of The Rock’s high Charisma attribute by giving your opponent a few taunts, this will raise your momentum bar significantly.

The Rocks finishers are The People’s Elbow and the Rock Bottom. To execute The People’s Elbow make sure your opponent is on the ground, move yourself so you’re in front of your opponents head then press L1. To hit the Rock Bottom simply stand face to face with your opponent while he’s groggy and tap L1.
