For nearly twenty years, one man has dominated the sports-entertainment industry like no other. Since his enigmatic debut in World Wrestling Entertainment's 1990 Survivor Series event through to the present, The Undertaker has always struck fear into the eyes of his opponent - whether it be with his monstrous physique and a spine chilling entrance or a motorcycle and a biker chain ready to be applied on any neck.

The Deadman will likely be remembered as the innovator behind some of wrestling's most horrifying and gruesome match types such as Hell in a Cell, Casket and Buried Alive matches and with a jaw-dropping 21-0 WrestleMania winning streak - which includes victories over a who's who's list of Sports-Entertainment. Names include Kane, Triple H, Randy Orton, Edge, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, Batista, Diesel and many more. He has undoubtedly earned the nickname "The Phenom" of World Wrestling Entertainment. The Undertaker's career accomplishments include six World Championships, multiple tag titles and even the Hardcore Championship! Despite constant rumors of his retirement, he continues to be a force to be reckoned with - both in and outside of the ring.

[edit] WWF SmackDown!™

Old school moves in an Old school cage in WWF SmackDown!

Undertaker made his SmackDown! debut wearing a Gothic style attire with the ministry entrance music. His finisher was the Tombstone Pile-driver

[edit] SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role™

In Know Your Role The Undertaker appeared in his American Badass attire and entered the ring on a motorbike. At the time of the games release Undertaker's music was American Bad Ass by Kid Rock, however the game used an unlicensed theme for his entrance. His finisher was the Last Ride. Also featured in this game is an alternate attire that you can use through caw mode. It's the Undertaker's ministry attire. He switched Gimmicks during the early stages of the game.

[edit] SmackDown!: Just Bring It™

In this game Undertaker and his brother Kane were featured in their Tag Team: Brothers of Destruction and were used in season mode quite a lot.

[edit] SmackDown!: Shut Your Mouth™

In this game, Undertaker is one of the powerhouses. Not yet dead, he is present in his good ol' American Badass self, ready to kick some serious ass all over the wrestling ring. SYM is the second game to feature his special ring entrance, involving a motorcycle. If the player wishes to switch that around, he may do so by unlocking alternate motorcycle entrances in Season mode.

The Undertaker starts out as being the Undisputed Champion in season mode. Undertaker's moveset is very similar to the one featured in JBI and this means he can lift any opponent and cause tremendous damage to whom he decides to inflict it to. His finishers are the Last Ride and the chokeslam.

One interesting thing to note in SYM is the Undertaker's unique leg drop ability by the ropes. This is exclusive to his character and CAWS that auto-select his moveset.

[edit] SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain™

This game features the last time where Undertaker appears as the American Badass. A counterpart of himself also appears in this game, Old School Undertaker.

[edit] SmackDown! vs RAW 2007™

Undertaker’s stats are very diverse and are useful in many types of match ups. Undertaker is a brawler and his stats show that, his strikes are hard hitting punches and he performs a big boot. His basic grapple moves are quick and are designed to go after certain parts of the body. His advanced grapple moves are more hard-hitting and are designed to really just do a lot of damage.

'Taker is a Super heavyweight and as a Super heavyweight, he is capable of lifting every superstar in the game. However, Undertaker has a weakness, while he is very strong and durable, he isn’t very quick, and his Stamina isn’t the greatest. So if you try to just continuously follow up with his hard-hitting moves you will run out of stamina very quick into the match. Overall however if you’re looking for someone to dominate their opponents then the Undertaker is your man.

[edit] SmackDown! vs RAW 2008™

Being one of the best superstars in the game, The Undertaker is definitely one of easiest guys to play with. Having such high durability it's damn near impossible to be wore down to a dangerous level like it is Rey Mysterio. His high submission skills, technical skills and hardcore skills makes him strong in every match type. His stamina has improved greatly since Smackdown! vs RAW 2007 meaning you can run around a little bit more and do more high profile moves without having to gasp forever. The deadman however, is about as quick as a deadman. He's awfully slow meaning it can be hard to catch cruiserweights - but his sheer power is sure to destroy them anyway. A truly phenomenal superstar in game as well as out game.

One of the negative points about Undertaker is because of the limited Fighting Styles feature, he is unable to perform his vintage body dive outside of the ring. He is also unable to perform his over-the-head lariat.

[edit] SmackDown! vs RAW 2009™

Undertaker has an overall of 95, joint highest with that of Randy Orton. In this game, his abilities heavily advantage him, along with his attributes. A brutal combination of Kip-Up and Resiliency (like Shawn Michaels) will make him hard to put down for the count. His opponents will have to be careful with submissions, as not only the attribute is quite high but he contains the Lock Pick ability, able to get out of most submissions when he can.

This game also marks the debut of his new finisher, the Hell's Gate.

[edit] WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011

In this installment of the series The Undertaker has 3 attires: Normal, Ministry of Darkness and American Baddass with the latter two being downloadable. The Undertaker also breaks John Cena's record of highest overall with 98. Signature moves are Chokeslam and Old School, and finishers include Tombstone and the Last Ride. The Underaker is also involved in the Road to Wrestlemania mode where either R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler or a CAW (create a superstar) try to end his Wrestlemania undefeated streak.

[edit] WWE '12

This is possibly the last time the current Undertaker appears with long hair since he has his Wrestlemania XXVIII mohawk hairstyle in WWE '13. His overall is 96.

[edit] Trivia

  • He is the second most linked superstar in this SmackDown! Wiki.
