World Heavyweight Championship
From Smackdown! - Wiki on Neoseeker
The World Heavyweight Championship was first brought in 2002 when then-WWE Champion Brock Lensar left to Smackdown. That left the Raw brand with no World Title. General Manager Eric Bisoff then presented the World Title to Triple H. The title is currently on the Smackdown brand. Also the title has been moved to different brands on due to the WWE Draft multiple times and a Money in the Bank cash-in by CM Punk.
Current Champion
The Undertaker is the current World Heavyweight Champion and is on his 7th world title reign in the WWE. He won the title at the 2009 Hell in a Cell PPV from CM Punk. The Phenom was able to defeat Punk after catching him with the Tombstone Piledriver and then covering him for the 3-count.
