The Radicalz

The Radicalz was a stable that consisted of Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn. The four were previously part of WCW, but left to pursue a career in WWE - a move that many call the death toll for WCW.

The four members of the Radicalz were very close for the first month or so, but started to drift away into a more singles direction no too long after. After drifting for a few months, the Radicalz reunited and found themselves aligned with Triple H during his heated feud with Steve Austin. Chris Benoit shortly turned face to feud with Kurt Angle and was drifted away from the group. Eddie Guerrero stepped up as the leader, but was released not too long after. Dean Malenko eventually retired and Saturn was too busy with Moppy to notice.

Chris Benoit returned from injury and was drafted to the RAW Brand during the WWE Draft. Eddie Guerrero also made his return. At this time, both Saturn and Malenko were done with the WWE, so Benoit and Guerrero started up a short lived heel tag team. When Stephanie McMahon lured them to make the jump to SmackDown!, much to Eric Bischoff's displeasure, the duo split up and went in their own direction. A very memorable moment was WrestleMania 20 where Eddie Guerrero successfully made his first defense of the WWE Championship against Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit defeated Triple H and Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight Championship. To close out the show, the two embraced with both of their straps around their waists.

Since then, both Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit have died. Dean Malenko is currently a road agent and Perry Saturn is long retired after injuries resulting from gunshut wounds to the neck.

The Radicalz have been featured officially in two SmackDown! games.

WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role

A default stable consists of all four members of the group. Each member is in a different ranking, except for Eddie and Saturn who are both in the European Rankings.

WWF SmackDown!: Just Bring It

All four members are in the game, but are not all featured as members of the Radicalz. Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn have the tag team stable as the Radicalz.

WWE SmackDown!: Shut Your Mouth

Though it's not officially the Radicalz by name, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit have a default stable in the game and will often team together in season mode.
